Oh this is a fun challenge from DPW. I started by brush applying
gesso to masonite leaving bush strokes. I chose acrylic paint as a medium,
using liquitex cadmium orange and Windsor and newton cobalt blue and a bit of
titanium white. Spot mixing to get an oil look was accomplished with slow dry medium,
the base was the covered in gloss acrylic with a brush using the same direction
brushstrokes as the gesso. The final blended squares were done using pure color
blended into heavy molding medium to give dimension and a flat on gloss relief.
